Collection of Data

Visage Payroll takes privacy very seriously. Securing and protecting personal information collected in the normal process of providing payroll services is our top priority. We receive personal information from clients, employers, and employees about their current, prospective and former employees, as well as information about their dependents and family members. This information is required in order to appropriately determine liabilities owed, including federal, state and local taxes, garnishments, etc. This policy describes our collection, use, and security of this data.

Visage Payroll will collect data only as provided and permitted by any client or their employee. We provide multiple levels of encryption and security designed to make that data accessible and identifiable only to the end user, their employer, or any agency which requires such information for the normal assessment of liabilities and processing of payments. We will never share such information with third parties unless explicitly requested by the owner of such data.

Visage Payroll will disclose personally identifiable information to the following parties under the following conditions:
1) As request by an employer, whether for the employer’s user, or to be submitted to a third party (such as a tax authority);
2) To third party affiliates and processors as needed in order to provide services requested by an employer or an employee;
3) To an employee, upon request; All third parties are bound to limit their use and request of personal information solely for the purpose of provided contacted services.
Visage Payroll will also provide personal information when required to do so by law, as in the case of a subpoena, to any court or law enforcement agency in the United States or any country where Visage Payroll operates.

SSN and PII Collection

Visage Payroll collects Social Security numbers and other sensitive data in the ordinary course of business. We have implemented all reasonable standards to ensure the technical, physical and administrative protection of SSNs and other data. We also require all third parties to whom we disclose SSNs and other sensitive data to adhere to equally stringent standards to safeguard this information. Access to these numbers within Visage Payroll are limited to employees and contractors who have a specific, limited need to provide services requiring this information. Visage Payroll cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information, but that all reasonable standards have been achieved and maintained in protecting such data as could be reasonably assumed.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798 allows California residents to ask companies with whom they have an established business relationship to provide certain information about the companies’ sharing of personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Visage Payroll only shares personal information with third parties at the specific request of individuals. Removing Data

Users have a right to review the information they have provided to Visage Payroll and has been maintained by the company to provide payroll services at any time. This information can be deleted by contacting Visage Payroll at the address above. Any such request will result in deletion of the User’s account along with all associated Personal Information not required in order to provide services required by a User’s employer. We will make all efforts to honor any such request in a timely manner, but reserve the right to maintain an archived copy of any records generated by such information as required by law or for other legitimate business concerns. Visage Payroll does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information on children under the age of 13 and removes any data inadvertently collected the moment it’s discovered.

Third Party Content

Visage Payroll is not responsible for the content of other sites or services linked to from our own services. This Privacy Policy does not extend to those services or their providers. Any information provided to them at the User’s request or by the User is the responsibility of the User and any such third party, not Visage Payroll.

Visage Payroll makes use of anonymous user data to provide statistics and guidance to our marketing partners. Personal Information is made available to these partners only at the request of the User.

Privacy Policy Status

This policy may be updated or revised from time to time. Users will be notified of changes or updates as they occur. Information collected is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of its collection. By continuing to use this service after changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the new Privacy Policy.
